Pavlodar chemical plant KazBytChim will start to produce a de-icer for airplanes, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing KazTAG. “We have done some marketing research. According to the figures, about 50 tones of de-icer are required for our in-country airports on everyday basis. At the present moment the airports purchase de-icer from abroad. The airplanes won’t be permitted in the air without a special liquid on it, so, it is quite an essential and important strategic project for us,” Armen Yefremyan, the general director of the enterprise said. According to Yefremyan, the project is under technical development now. The plant is planning to produce 30 tons of de-icer a day. The main equipment will be supplied from Europe. The cost of the project is about 50 million tenge ($342 thousand). KazBytChim enterprise launched the first soaps manufacturing line that costs 120 million tenge ($822 100) in 2009. At the present moment the plant produces more than 180 items of different soaps, including shampoos, glass cleaners, dishwashing liquids, and furniture cleaners. These products are delivered to all Kazakhstan regions, as well as to several Russian cities, such as Omsk, Novosibirsk and Altay region.
