NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, who is currently on board of the International Space Station along with Kazakhstani astronaut Aidyn Aimbetov, has tweeted the photo of Kazakhstan's capital Astana, while Aidyn Aimbetov has captured the Caspian Sea from space, Tengrinews reports.

Since the American astronaut posted the photo on September 6, it has been retweeted more than 500 times.

On the same day, Aidyn Aimbetov tweeted the photo of the Caspian Sea.

"On one side there is the Earth, on the other is an enormous cosmic space. Incredible distances without artificial boundaries made by people," the third Kazakh astronaut to travel to space told in Twitter.

Last Friday morning, Kazakhstan's Aidyn Aimbetov, Russian Sergey Volkov and the European Space Agency astronaut Andreas Mogenson were welcomed on board of the ISS by Expedition 44 commander Gennady Padalka of Roscosmos, flight engineers Scott Kelly and Kjell Lindgren of NASA, flight engineers Oleg Kononenko and Mikhail Kornienko of Roscosmos as well as Kimiya Yui of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency.

Aidyn Aimbetov's day includes 7 hours of work, 2 hours of exercising, 1 hour for lunch and around 8 hours for sleep. The rest is free time.

Astronauts are conducting a number of experiments in biology, biotechnology, physical science and are studying the Earth.

On Saturday, September 12, Aimbetov and Mogenson will return to Earth together with Gennady Padalka, who has been on board since March, while Volkov will remain aboard the station for the next six months.
