Experts of the International Autosport Federation (FIA) have held a 3-day training for Kazakhstan experts teaching them to hold international tournaments in compliance with new procedures, Vesti.kz reports.
The experts were invited by Kazakhstan Automotosports Federation. According to FIA representative Fred Gallagher, Kazakhstan is a good place for holding auto tournaments and organization of rallies is the most achievable goal.
The experts said that they were ready to help Kazakhstan in organizing such tournaments. Representatives of Kazakhstan autosport said that the 3-day training was beneficial for them. “We know many things already. But the training helps us solidify our knowledge,” President of Kazakhstan Automotosport Federation Marat Abykayev said.
According to Kazakhstan Automotosport Federation, Jean-Louis Schlesser Cup will be held in Kazakhstan in the nearest time. Jean-Louis Schlesser is a French car racer who has won numerous rallies. The Federation is also discussing holding a joint race with Russia.
