The passport of Ivan Cheryomukhin found at the explosion site in Astana belongs to neither of the two men killed in the blast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Interior Ministry. As per the Ministry, it was found out the next day after the incident that this document was left as a pledge to taxi driver. “The passport of Ivan Cheryomukhin found in the car belongs to one of Ekibastuz citizens who left it as a pledge to the car owner who was taxi-driving unofficially,” the Ministry representative Kalkamas Temirova said. Ivan is alive, said the mother of 26-year-old Ekibastuz citizen to Tengrinews.kz. “Cheryomukhin Ivan Aleksandrovich? This is my son. No, he is alive. He just left the documents with the taxi driver. It was a totally different person. My son is alive. We just talked in the morning. As for the documents, he says that he just left them in a car or gave them to taxi driver as a pledge,” Irina Cheryomukhina said. All the details about the blast read at Tengrinews.kz English.
