"In the tournaments in Moscow and Alushta held in June 2012 Zhansaya Abdumalik fulfilled the requirements of the international grandmaster and improved her rating in two tournaments by 102 points, thus, becoming the youngest grandmaster in the world," press-service of Kazakh-British Technical University states. The press-service also writes that Abdumalik is the youngest student of the university.
