A major fire broke out at the popular Kartalkaya ski resort in the Turkish province of Bolu on the night of January 21. Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan said that there were no Kazakhs among the victims.

"According to preliminary data from local authorities, our citizens are not among the victims," Aibek Smadiyarov, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told Tengrinews.kz.
