Tengrinews.kz — Regular air service between Kazakhstan and Dubai is planned to resume on July 15. However, the flight schedule may change depending on developments in the Middle East.

Regular flights on the Almaty — Dubai — Almaty and Astana — Dubai — Astana routes are expected to resume on July 15. This was reported by Air Astana.

At the same time, the carrier noted that it continues to monitor developments in the Middle East. Depending on the situation, the flight schedule may be adjusted.

“Air Astana plans to resume regular flights on the Almaty — Dubai — Almaty and Astana — Dubai — Astana routes from July 15,” the airline said.

The company added that it is continuing to closely monitor the situation in the region.

“The airline is monitoring developments in the region and may adjust the flight schedule depending on the situation in the Middle East. Passengers will be informed in the event of any additional changes,” the statement said.

The resumption of flights comes several days after temporary restrictions were introduced. As a reminder, on July 12, flights to Dubai were changed due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East.

Flight KC205 from Astana to Dubai, which departed in the morning at 7:10 a.m., turned around midair and returned to the departure airport. On the same day, flight KC897 from Almaty to Dubai, which was scheduled to depart at 8:50 a.m., was canceled.

At the time, the airline said passengers of the canceled flight would be able to receive a full refund at the place where they purchased their tickets.

“Passengers are provided with a full refund at the place of purchase. Further changes to the flight schedule will be announced later,” the airline noted.

In addition, the carrier recommended that passengers check the status of their flights in advance, as departure and arrival times could change. The company also said it was continuing to closely monitor developments and address issues related to transporting passengers.

This is not the first time air service to Dubai has been temporarily changed due to the situation in the region. In early March, Air Astana had already suspended flights from Almaty and Astana to Dubai, after which flights were resumed. At the time, the situation in the Middle East was also cited as the reason.

Passengers planning trips to the UAE are advised to monitor the latest flight status. In the event of additional changes, the airline says it will inform customers in a timely manner. For information, passengers can contact Air Astana’s 24-hour booking and support center through the official website, online chat, WhatsApp or support service phone numbers.
