Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov reminded of joint responsibility of the government for saving the record grain harvest, Tengrinews.kz reports.
"The President gave very clear instructions to the Government, Ministries, governors, agricultural producers and provided both opportunities and resources for collecting the bumper harvest and preserving it. These opportunities include lowering fuel prices, grain purchase by the state and favorable state policies. It was his decision. This is a huge support and he has a right to demand results from us. Our task now is to save the record harvest that we have this year,” Karim Massimov told the ministers on September 27. “We are all responsible to the President for saving this harvest.”
According to PM, acting upon the President's instruction must become a daily duty.
Today, September 27, Kazakhstan Government held an extended meeting on harvest-2011. Minister Mamytbekov made a report on the harvesting process.
