Best Kazakhstan-made goods being selected in Astana

A state contest-exhibition Best Kazakhstan Goods-2012 kicked off in Korme exhibition center in Astana on December 11. The contest is held to select the best Kazakhstan-made goods, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Kazakhstan needs today’s exhibition. The country is switching from quantity to quality. Having experienced the improvement of our economy, many of our citizens already know what a good-quality life is like. The quality of life, the quality of human capital and the quality of our goods have to improve,” deputy head of Kazakhstan President’s Administration Baurzhan Baibek said at the opening of the exhibition. Bent company became the first participant of the exhibition Baibek checked on. The company produces concrete sleepers with binds. According to the company’s chairman Dilmurat Kuziyev, the company exported its goods to Uzbekistan last year. “Before we used to buy all that in Germany. But now we are producing it ourselves. There are five elements in total and we produce three of them at our plant. We make studs, blocks and bushings ourselves. The remaining two elements we still buy in Germany. We currently have around 2 thousand employees.” KazMaedPribor from Shymkent was the next company to show their goods. The company was established in 2005. Its main business is production of medical and laboratory furniture, production and supplied of medical equipment and medical purpose goods. The goods of Kapchagai Farfor company were also attractive for the visitors. The company is the only producer of porcelain goods in Kazakhstan. It produces household porcelain, souvenirs and electrotechnical porcelain (isolators, porcelain balls and chemicals-resistant dishes for chemical laboratories). The goods have interesting decorations both in Asian and European styles. Pchelocenter Aitas from Ust-Kamenogorsk was of interest to the visitors as well. The company supplies natural bee honey and offers such goods as propolis, bee milk and berries and herbs essences. Milk company Ais from Aktobe also presented its goods. Besides the local market, the company currently supplies over 1,000 tons of goods per year to Orsk, Orenburg and Omsk (Russia). The annual output of goods is around 10 thousand tons. Almaty company Angelcher presented its school outfits at the exhibitions. The exhibition of the best Kazakhstan-made goods shows success of Kazakhstan’s industry. The contest is participated by 150 companies and individual entrepreneurs who won at regional exhibitions. In the end of the exhibition the commission will define winners in three categories: Best industrial-purpose goods, Best goods for people, . The results will be announced on December 25 in the Independence Palace, where winners of Kazakhstan President’s Altyn Sapa award will be announced.
