Azerbaijan to buy $10 million worth of Kazakhstan-made commodities

Azerbaijan will buy Kazakhstan commodities totally worth $10 million, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of National Export and Investments Agency KAZNEX INVEST of Kazakhstan Ministry of Industry and New Technologies. “Export contracts for over $10 million were signed after presentations of Kazakhstan's commodities in Azerbaijan on October 24-25,” KAZNEX INVEST stated. Major producer of chemicals KazAzot will export 13 thousand tons of fertilizers. Batteries made by Zhersy Power, transformers by Alageum, weighing equipment manufactured by Control Systems Technology Asia and Kazakhstan-made food will be also exported to Azerbaijan by the end of the year. Besides, the Agency arranged negotiations of Aktobe plant of oil equipment, Ust-Kamenogorsk condensate factory, Belkamit and Munaispap companies with AP State oil company and National oil and gas design institute of Azerbaijan. Baku is planning to buy oil and gas equipment from Belkamit company after some negotiations. The Agency also visited Tbilisi, Georgia, where memorandums of intentions were signed with Georgian buyers. Kazakh company Rza signed a contract on supply of rice grits and processed grain products, Kentau transformers factory will supply transformers for construction of power plant and Maslodel-Trade will work with Georgian partners to supply fat and oil products. 20 producers from Kazakhstan presented their goods at Kazakhstan-Georgian business-forum in Tbilisi. National Export and Investments Agency KAZNEX INVEST is part of Kazakhstan Ministry of Industry and New Technologies. It works under 2010-2014 State Program of Accelerated Industrial-Innovative Development. The Agency is a state operator of the system of development and promotion of non-energy export and is a specialized state company on attraction and work with foreign investors. KAZNEX INVEST is funded from the state budget and renders its services free of charge.
