Two people rescued from roof of burning cafe in Astana

Tengrinews.kz - A fire broke out at a two-story cafe in Astana. Two workers were rescued from the roof of the burning building.

The fire occurred in the Almaty district at the intersection of Tauelsizdik Avenue and Akyrtas Street.

“A fire broke out in the billiards area of a two-story cafe. Fire crews who arrived at the scene quickly extinguished the blaze and rescued two workers from the roof of the building using a three-section ladder. Visitors had evacuated on their own before firefighters arrived,” reported the Department of Emergency Situations.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is being determined.

Earlier, a fire broke out on the grounds of the central market in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
