Tengrinews.kz – The Head of State sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Republic of Rwanda, according to Akorda.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Paul Kagame on the Independence Day of the Republic of Rwanda.
“We consider your country one of our reliable and important partners on the African continent. In this regard, I note with particular satisfaction that the relations of friendship and mutual understanding between Kazakhstan and Rwanda are built on a solid foundation and have great potential,” the telegram said.
It is worth noting that in May of this year, Tokayev held an expanded-format meeting with President Paul Kagame of Rwanda. The two heads of state identified several priority areas for further cooperation, including trade, investment, transport, agriculture, information technology, e-government, and finance.
