Tengrinews.kz - A ceremonial meeting dedicated to International Women's Day is being held in Astana with the participation of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, according to a statement from Akorda.
The President congratulated women on the holiday of March 8.
"With all my heart, I congratulate you on the wonderful spring holiday - International Women's Day! Of course, March 8 is a holiday that personifies beauty and tenderness. All these qualities are inherent in the beautiful half of humanity. With their love and care, lovely girls and women make the world a kinder place. As folk wisdom says, ‘a woman rocks the cradle with one hand, and the whole world with the other,’" said the Head of State.
The President noted that a woman is the keeper of the hearth, the soul of the nation.
"Mother gives life to each of us, serves as an inexhaustible source of well-being. Gentle motherly hands and boundless love warm every home. Mothers play an exceptional role in preserving national traditions and the native language.
Dear women, thanks to you, our existence acquires a deep meaning! On this solemn day, all men rush to congratulate you, and I, as the Head of State, would like to express my warmest wishes to you," Tokayev addressed.
The President of the country noted that women work conscientiously in all areas, strengthening the potential and authority of Kazakhstan with their persistent and effective work.
Earlier, President Tokayev recalled the exceptional role of women in the history of our country.
