Tengrinews.kz - President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has arrived in Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin to take part in events marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, citing the Akorda press service.
While in Moscow, the Kazakh President is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with foreign leaders.

According to Russian media, the Victory Day parade in Moscow will be attended by leaders of CIS countries as well as Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and Milorad Dodik, President of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A total of 19 world leaders are expected to attend the event.
Earlier, President Tokayev took part in a flower-laying ceremony at the "Otan Ana" monument in Astana.
