Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, according to a statement from the Akorda press service.
The two leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of Qurban Ait, a sacred holiday for Muslims around the world.
Tokayev and Pezeshkian expressed satisfaction with the steady development of Kazakhstan-Iran relations, built on friendship and good neighborliness.
“During the conversation, they discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings,” the statement said.
