Tengrinews.kz — Tesla Cybertruck mobile units will be deployed at the upcoming Organization of Turkic States summit in Turkestan, citing the State Security Service of Kazakhstan. Symbolically, the development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies has been announced as the primary theme of the summit, which is scheduled for May 15.
The SSS noted that the command and staff vehicle, built on the Tesla Cybertruck platform, has been put on duty to maintain law and order and provide technical support for the meetings of the heads of state.

"The use of specialized vehicles based on Tesla Cybertruck electric pickups for security purposes is a first for Kazakhstan. These high-tech machines coordinate units and perform real-time terrain monitoring during the international event in Turkestan," the SSS stated.
The unit's technical equipment allows for the operation of staff hardware and communication systems without external power sources. The electric vehicle's battery capacity ensures prolonged autonomous operation of computers and specialized communication devices.

Another significant factor is that the Tesla Cybertruck is an electric vehicle. This not only allows it to operate silently but also permits its placement in the immediate vicinity of official meeting venues.
The SSS emphasized that the vehicle was donated to the agency by a Kazakhstani entrepreneur free of charge.
It is worth noting that the Tesla Cybertruck is already being used by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The choice was driven by the need to conduct search operations in challenging mountainous terrain. Furthermore, the use of electric transport in conservation areas and on tourist routes helps preserve the region's ecosystem.
Tesla electric vehicles have been utilized by law enforcement agencies in other countries for several years. For instance, the Fremont Police Department in California has been operating patrol cars of this brand since 2019. In 2020, the Royal Thai Police received a shipment of Tesla Model 3 Performance units for operational tasks. In June 2024, the Dubai Police added the Cybertruck to its fleet, using it to escort official motorcades.
