Tengrinews.kz — Teenagers lost their way on the trail and were unable to descend on their own in the area of Peak Skalistyi.
Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations came to the tourists’ aid.
“One of the teenagers, born in 2008, lost the trail during the ascent and was unable to continue the route on his own. Rescuers safely escorted him and two other teenagers to the Alma-Arasan eco-post,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
The teenagers did not require medical assistance.
Rescuers reminded people that before heading into the mountains, they should plan their route in advance, take weather conditions into account, calculate the time needed to return before dark, carry a charged phone and a flashlight, and inform relatives of their plans.
