The shocking incident was captured on video, which quickly spread on social media. The Aktobe Regional Police apprehended the teenager as he attempted to cross the border. He was wanted for hooliganism.

Russian media reported that the suspect is a 14-year-old, who has been living in the Saratov region of Russia with his mother since 2021. He was staying with his father in Kazakhstan for the summer holidays when the incident occurred.

The teen has been placed in a temporary detention center. The Aktobe police department shared footage on Instagram, showing the teenager being escorted into the facility by officers.
