The foreign nationals were discovered by patrol officers after their bus broke down on the roadside near the village of Saryshagan.
Police transported the passengers to a local mosque, while an additional team arrived to assist the driver in restarting the bus.
"This was a bus traveling on the Novosibirsk-Shymkent route. The passengers were freezing. They were provided with food, warmth, and assistance to continue their journey," the regional police department stated.
Authorities urged drivers to thoroughly inspect their vehicles before embarking on trips beyond populated areas.
Earlier, a group of tourists lost their way in the mountains of the Karkaraly district in the Karaganda region, prompting a rescue operation that utilized a drone.
