Tengrinews.kz — A number of government services for foreigners will be temporarily suspended in Kazakhstan. According to the Government for Citizens corporation, the reason is a technical failure.
What happened
As the corporation reported, the service for issuing an IIN to foreigners and stateless persons temporarily residing in the country is currently unavailable at Public Service Centers and Migration Service Centers. The technical failure occurred on April 9 at 9:00 a.m.
“In addition, due to technical work, from 09:00 on April 10 until 09:00 on April 13, the issuance of temporary residence permits in Kazakhstan for foreigners and stateless persons will also be suspended,” the company said.
The state corporation clarified that after all restoration work is completed, the provision of services will resume, and an additional announcement will be made.
