Air Astana
Air Astana has announced the temporary suspension of its Atyrau–Dubai route starting June 28, citing a significant increase in flight duration.
"Flights from Astana and Almaty to Dubai will continue, bypassing the airspace of Iran and Iraq. Passengers of suspended flights will be offered free rebooking on flights from Almaty and Astana to Dubai or other destinations from Atyrau, or a full refund," the airline said in a statement.

On June 13, it was announced that Air Astana and FlyArystan made the decision to reroute all flights to avoid Iranian and Iraqi airspace. Travelers are advised to check the status of their flights as departure and arrival times may change.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi
Wizz Air has also confirmed a temporary suspension of its route between Astana (NQZ) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) due to the current political situation in the Middle East.
"The last flight from Astana to Abu Dhabi will depart on June 19, 2025, at 3:45 p.m. local time," the airline stated.
Passengers booked on return flights from Abu Dhabi to Astana will be offered an alternative route via Almaty (ALA). A full refund is available for those who opt out of the new itinerary — requests should be made through the Wizz Air call center.
