Roads to Issyk and Assy-Turgen closed until spring

Tengrinews.kz - The Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty Region announced which roads on popular tourist routes will be closed until spring.

The department reported that, due to the risk of avalanches, several road sections in the Talgar and Enbekshikazakh districts will be closed from November 27 to March 31.

The road from the city of Esik to Lake Issyk will be closed from the 7th to the 15th kilometer.

The regional road Turgen - Batan - Assy Observatory will also be closed from the 15th to the 41st kilometer.

Additionally, there are plans to block a section of the road from Talgar to the "Sputnik" camp, from the 6th to the 11th kilometer.
