As Putin noted, Russia regards Kazakhstan not only as an ally but also as a reliable partner.
"It is very important that Kazakhstan is successfully developing under the leadership of President Tokayev, showing stable and reliable growth. The socio-political situation in the country is stable, which is crucial for economic planning and investments. We have billions invested in Kazakhstan’s economy, and the trade turnover is approaching $30 billion and it continues to grow steadily," said the Russian president following his visit to Astana.

On November 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit. As part of the visit, high-level talks between the two countries were held. The heads of state also participated via video conference in the Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
