Tengrinews.kz - Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has ordered to speed up work on the introduction of robotics in Kazakhstan.

"I fully support robotics, I have already given instructions. The program should be extremely simple, understandable, without theorizing, it should be applied, we must clearly move towards the introduction of robotics," Bektenov said at a government meeting.

He also noted the words of the Chair of the Board of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan Meiram Pshembayev:

"Meiram Kudaibergenovich is right in saying that we should not constantly be in the role of catching up, maybe we need to move at an accelerated pace to replace traditional machines and equipment."

The Prime Minister also said that it is necessary to immediately move to the use of robots.

"It is clear that this is not easy, but we need to work in this direction and strive for this. As for the meeting with the heads of the robot manufacturing company, I am ready to meet myself. Please, if there are any, let's hold a meeting, discuss our cooperation," Bektenov added.

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
