Tengrinews.kz - A passenger was detained during a flight from Almaty to Uralsk. A video of the incident appeared on social media.
"An incident occurred on the flight from Almaty to Uralsk due to a passenger's bad joke. The young man decided to record a video for social media, but his actions led to a delay of the flight. Representatives of aviation security were called on board, who arrived together with the cynologists for inspection. The passenger was detained to clarify the circumstances,” the video description states.
In the video, it is evident that the young man is frightened and confused. He was taken off the plane and transported in a special vehicle. The flight was delayed for nearly an hour due to the incident.

The Transport Police Department commented on the situation:
"A preliminary investigation has been launched regarding the false report of a terrorist act. Other information is not subject to disclosure according to Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press service of the Transport Police Department reported.
There was also a case when a foreigner was detained at Astana airport.
