It turned out that the moment was captured by the state inspector of Borovoe forestry Dauren Nurtazin. He filmed a pair of whooper swans saying goodbye to Lake Borovoe before migrating to warmer regions. The video was taken on a clear September morning at dawn.

As is known, the whooper swan is one of the largest waterfowl, renowned for its majestic flight and loud call.
"Whooper swans nest on the shores of large lakes, covered with thick vegetation. In late September to early November, these magnificent birds leave the lakes of the national park and travel thousands of kilometers in search of suitable wintering conditions. They spend the winter at the Caspian Sea, in the waters of China, or in the northern Mediterranean Sea," stated the national park.
It is also worth noting that whooper swans are migratory birds and monogamous, forming lifelong pairs.
