Tengrinews.kz — On the night of March 8, 11 flights arrived in Kazakhstan from Middle Eastern countries, bringing 1,786 passengers home, according to the Civil Aviation Committee.
According to the agency, the flights were operated by Air Astana, SCAT, FlyDubai, and Air Arabia. Several additional flights were also scheduled for March 8. These are to be operated by both Kazakhstani and foreign airlines.
How many Kazakhstanis have already returned
Since the start of the evacuation operation, which has been underway since March 3, 37 flights have been carried out from the Middle East to Kazakhstan. During this period, 6,254 people have returned home.
