Tengrinews.kz - In Almaty, an atlas of mountain routes and a special brochure for mountain enthusiasts have been launched for tourists.
These informational materials are designed to ensure the safety and comfort of tourists and residents in the mountains.
"The atlas of mountain routes provides comprehensive information on five popular routes in the region. It includes not only route descriptions but also preparation recommendations, required equipment lists, navigation tips, and safety rules," the city administration stated.
The map covers routes in the Malaya Almatinka and Bolshaya Almatinka gorges. It features essential symbols to help tourists navigate the terrain more easily. The map is beneficial for both beginners and experienced travelers.
The brochure "Mountain Peaks and Safety" serves as a practical guide for safe conduct in the mountains, addressing potential risks that tourists may encounter.
The informational materials are available for free in three languages at Visit Almaty information centers and can also be accessed online.
