Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan's National Security Committee (NSC), in coordination with law enforcement agencies and foreign intelligence services, has dismantled an international drug trafficking channel supplying narcotics to East Asian countries.
During the joint operation, more than 10 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized. The estimated street value of the drugs in the destination country is around $2.4 million (approximately 1.2 billion tenge).

"A pre-trial investigation is being conducted by foreign partners," the NSC said in a statement.
Previously, the NSC released an update on efforts to seize illegal weapons stolen during the January 2022 unrest.
