Tengrinews.kz - German airline Lufthansa has announced the resumption of regular flights to Kazakhstan.
According to the press service of Almaty International Airport, the carrier will operate five flights per week to Almaty and four flights per week to Astana.
"The flights will be carried out on comfortable Airbus A340 and Airbus A330 aircraft with a three-class configuration," the statement reads.
Airport representatives clarified that the flights will connect to Frankfurt am Main. The schedule for Astana flights was also confirmed.
"Flights from Astana to Frankfurt will operate twice on Mondays, as well as on Fridays and Saturdays," the airport’s press service added.
Previously, Lufthansa announced a temporary suspension of flights to Kazakhstan from January 12 to February 13, 2025.
