Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet has issued a warning for residents of Astana and other cities across different regions of the country.

Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet has issued a warning for residents of Astana and other cities across different regions of the country.

"On February 12, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the cities of Atyrau, Aktobe, and at night in Astana," the statement said.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions (UMC) are weather phenomena that contribute to the accumulation of harmful substances in the air. These typically include calm weather, weak winds, fog, or temperature inversion, which cause pollutants to remain near the ground and worsen air quality.
