Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstanis will be able to evaluate the performance of public servants online and directly influence their salaries starting from 2025. This was announced by the Center for Research, Analysis and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to reports, by 2029, the work of all state bodies will be fully digitized, and officials with low ratings will see a reduction in their salaries.
Currently, Kazakhstan is conducting research aimed at the complete digitalization of the public administration system. According to Baurzhan Bokayev, the head of scientific projects at the Center for Research, Analysis and Evaluation of the Effectiveness, this is necessary to strengthen the connection between citizens and public servants.
"Management models from countries such as the UK, Singapore, and the USA serve as an example for implementing best practices in Kazakhstan in the area of meritocracy, digitalization, and enhancing the efficiency of public administration," Bokayev stated.
A methodology has been developed for Kazakhstanis to evaluate the knowledge and skills of public servants necessary for performing their official duties, depending on the field and type of activity. The developers of the methodology do not provide further details.
