Tengrinews.kz – Another phone number will become free for Kazakhstan residents. The corresponding draft resolution has been published on the "Open NPA" portal.
According to the amendments, the list of emergency medical, law enforcement, fire, emergency, and other services whose calls are free will be expanded to include one more number – 111.
The 111 contact center provides consultations to Kazakhstan residents on family matters, and the protection of women's and children's rights.
The document will be open for discussion until November 27 and will come into effect 10 days after being signed by the prime minister.
As a reminder: initially, the 111 number, which has been in operation since last year, was for Kazakhstan residents facing domestic violence issues. Now, Kazakhstan residents can contact the 111 contact center for the following matters:
- Protection of life, health, rights, and freedoms of individuals;
- Protection of children's rights;
- Issues related to preschool, secondary, higher, and other education;
- Language policy;
- Social protection of people with disabilities;
- Pension provision;
- Employment;
- Population migration;
- Protection, preservation, and strengthening of health;
- Prevention and elimination of emergencies;
- Legal consultations;
- Religious activities;
- Charity, volunteer activities;
- Mobilization, military education;
- Veterinary control;
- Issues related to all types of transportation, airport operations;
- Tourism, physical culture, and sports;
- Environmental protection;
- Industry, construction;
- Economics and finance.
