Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for December 4, 5, and 6.
Blizzards and ice expected in Kazakhstan
According to the forecast, most of Kazakhstan will experience unstable weather due to the northwestern cyclone trough and passing atmospheric fronts — precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected.
“In the northern, eastern, and central regions of the country, blowing snow and icy conditions are expected. Only in the western part of the republic on December 4–5, under the influence of an anticyclone, dry weather is forecast,” the statement says.
Meteorologists added that no significant changes in temperature are expected.
Why winter in Kazakhstan began without snow
This year, the first day of winter in most regions of Kazakhstan came without any precipitation. The country is experiencing abnormal weather: not only is there no snow cover, but not even a hint of snowfall. According to meteorologists, if these weather patterns continue, winters with little snow — or even without snow at all — may become the norm for Kazakhstan.
