Tengrinews.kz - Requirements for knowledge of the state language for obtaining citizenship have been established in Kazakhstan. The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
"The approved level of knowledge of the state language at the elementary level is no less than 36 (thirty-six) points, the basics of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan no less than 9 (nine) points, and the history of Kazakhstan no less than 15 (fifteen) points when applying for citizenship or reinstatement of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the document states.
The oversight of the implementation of the order is entrusted to the supervising Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The order comes into effect after its first official publication.
