Tengrinews.kz - The quota for attracting foreign labor for 2025 has been changed in Kazakhstan.
According to the order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the quota is distributed as follows:
- 0.2 percent of the total workforce – for permits issued by local executive bodies to employers;
- 3 percent – for attracting labor migrants.
The order will come into effect 10 calendar days after its first official publication.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the quota for attracting foreign labor for employment in Kazakhstan was 0.23 percent for permits issued by local executive bodies to employers, and 3.1 percent for attracting labor migrants.
