Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for July 3, 4, and 5.
A cyclone with atmospheric fronts will bring rain, thunderstorms, and a sharp drop in temperature across Kazakhstan. On July 4–5, precipitation is expected in most of the country, with heavy rain and hail in some areas. The most intense rainfall is forecast in the northwest, north, and east of the country.
In the south and southeast, the weather will remain mostly dry. Meteorologists warn of dust storms and strong winds in the western and southern regions.
Extreme heat up to 47°C
Daytime temperatures will reach up to +35°C in much of Kazakhstan. On July 4–5, central and eastern regions will experience extremely hot weather — up to +40…+42°C. In the south and southeast, temperatures will range from +35…+40°C, with some areas hitting +43…+47°C.
Cooling begins July 5
A sharp temperature drop is expected on July 5. In the north and central regions, daytime temperatures will fall to +18…+25°C, replacing the extreme heat.
What July weather will be like in Kazakhstan
Earlier, meteorologists issued a long-range forecast for July 2025 in Kazakhstan. According to the forecast, the month will be marked by unstable weather. Most regions can expect rain, some of it heavy, with thunderstorms, hail, and squally winds.
In the southern regions, strong and extreme heat is expected. Dust storms may occur in certain areas, and extreme fire danger will persist.
