Tengrinews.kz - Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov spoke about the concert of American pop star Jennifer Lopez in Astana, which is scheduled for August 1.
During the government meeting, the producer of the Astana Concert company Malik Khassenov announced plans to organize a performance of the world star on the capital's stage. The Prime Minister, in turn, noted the importance of such an initiative, expressing support for it.
"We have met with you many times, discussed, among other things, your plans to attract world stars of the first magnitude. I am glad that you succeeded. I know that you have come a long way to this. These are very high requirements for the relevant organizers of such concerts. Therefore, this is good," Bektenov said.
The head of government emphasized that Kazakhstan should become a permanent venue for large-scale cultural events, and promised the necessary state support in this direction.
"We need to continue this work so that Kazakhstan becomes a truly permanent venue for events of this kind. We, on the part of the government, will provide all the necessary support," he concluded.
Recall that Jennifer Lopez will perform in Astana on August 1. She will arrive in Astana from Abu Dhabi as part of her world tour Up All Night. JLo's concert will take place at Astana Arena.
