Tengrinews.kz – Foreigners will be able to receive migration services in Kazakhstan through a new mobile app, including the issuance of an individual identification number (IIN). This was announced by Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov at a government meeting.
According to the minister, foreign citizens are currently being issued special tourist cards with a QR code at airports and major border crossings. These cards contain information on the rules of stay in Kazakhstan, as well as contacts for emergency services and mobile operators.
In addition, the QazETA mobile app is being developed, which will allow foreigners to receive more migration services in digital format, including the issuance of an individual identification number.
As the head of the Minister of Internal Affairs noted, the Senate is currently considering the necessary legislative amendments to launch the relevant services.
