Tengrinews.kz - Minister of Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev said how many Kazakhstanis will get jobs at the nuclear power plant construction site.
During a government meeting, Satkaliyev said that about 5 thousand people will be provided with jobs under the nuclear power plant construction project by 2030.
"At the peak of construction in 2032 - about 10 thousand people. At the operational stage, the project will provide jobs for at least 2000 people. In addition to new projects, at existing enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, the total need for personnel in the period 2025-2029 is an additional 16 thousand jobs," the minister emphasized.
In addition, according to Satkaliyev, in support of the construction of the NPP, specialties for training personnel for the NPP will be created on the basis of domestic colleges.
Previously, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Minister of Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev and gave instructions on NPP and the heating season.
