Heavy rain and strong winds to sweep across Kazakhstan
According to the forecast, Kazakhstan will remain under the influence of an active cyclone over the next three days, bringing unsettled weather across much of the country. Rain and thunderstorms are expected, with periods of heavy rainfall and possible hail.
Strong winds of 15–20 m/s are forecast nationwide. On July 2 and 3, wind gusts in southern and southeastern Kazakhstan could reach 23–28 m/s. Dust storms are also expected in the south of the country.
Where temperatures will reach up to 38°C
Daytime temperatures in western and southwestern Kazakhstan are expected to rise to 31–38°C.
In the northwest, thermometers will show 27–35°C.
Hot weather will also persist in eastern Kazakhstan, where temperatures are forecast to reach 30–37°C.
Which regions will cool down
In northern and central Kazakhstan, temperatures are expected to drop to 18–28°C.
Southern and southeastern regions will see more moderate conditions, with daytime temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C.
