Tengrinews.kz – The second LRT train, consisting of two cars, has been installed on the left bank of Astana.
This refers to Station No. 112 (Abu Dhabi Plaza), according to a statement from City Transportation Systems released on Thursday, June 12.
Footage of the train being installed was shared on social media.

According to CTS Chairman Asylbek Duisebayev, the installation of the second LRT train at Station No. 112 is part of positioning rolling stock at key segments of the line. Each car is delivered through a complex logistics process and assembled using heavy lifting equipment.
"These operations allow us to prepare the trains in advance for commissioning and comprehensive testing, which will begin in September. We are gradually moving from the construction phase to the engineering and operational phase of the project," he noted.
The company clarified that the installation was carried out using specialized equipment — a 450-ton-capacity large crane. The train units were delivered to Turkestan Street from the Arys bridge side by two truck tractors with oversized trailers, totaling 39 meters in length, including the tractor.
