Tengrinews.kz – A FlyArystan aircraft collided with birds during landing. Details of the incident were reported by the airline’s press service.
According to the company, the aircraft struck birds on January 24 while operating flight FS7167 on the Almaty-Uralsk route.
After the aircraft landed, engineering and technical specialists were sent from Astana to Uralsk airport to inspect the aircraft and its components.
“After all inspections were completed, the aircraft was cleared for operation and at 01:17 on January 25, departed on the Uralsk–Almaty route. Passengers of the delayed flight were provided with hot drinks and meals, and, upon request, hotel accommodation for 33 passengers,” the press service reported.
The airline stressed that all actions were carried out in strict accordance with aviation safety and technical operation requirements, calling the safety of passengers and crew an unconditional priority. It also noted that bird strikes are external factors beyond the carrier’s control.
