Tengrinews.kz – A horrific accident involving a passenger bus occurred on the Samara–Shymkent highway in the Aktobe Region.
According to the Aktobe Region Police Department, the accident happened on December 7 at around 08:40 in the morning. The driver of a bus carrying 49 passengers — all citizens of Uzbekistan — lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.
“Five passengers died at the scene, and another 11 injured passengers with various traumas were taken to the Aiteke Bi District Central Hospital,” the regional police press service reported.
At the end of October, a DAF truck and a GAZelle passenger van collided on the Samara–Shymkent highway in the Aktobe Region. According to preliminary data, the truck veered into the oncoming lane. Both drivers and ten passengers died at the scene. Among the victims were children.
