Tengrinews.kz - An entrepreneur in Shymkent has been fined and arrested for violating the law during a free ice cream giveaway, citing Otyrar.
The event took place on June 1, Children’s Day, near the Zhanalyk shopping center in the Turan-2 microdistrict.
Instead of an organized distribution, the scene reportedly turned chaotic as passersby were pelted with ice cream, creating a safety hazard.
The organizer was fined 50 monthly calculation indices (196,600 tenge) and sentenced to five days of administrative arrest for petty hooliganism.
