Tengrinews.kz – Counterterrorism response drills will be held at the Karaganda airport on Thursday, May 22.

Details were provided by the Karaganda Regional Operational Headquarters for Combating Terrorism.
“On May 22, starting at 3:00 PM, a separate training exercise ‘Dabyl-Antiterror – 2025’ will be conducted at the Sary-Arka Airport to practice emergency response to terrorist threats,” the statement said.
As part of the drills, traffic restrictions will be implemented in the area around the airport.
The operational headquarters called on citizens to treat the exercise with understanding, follow the lawful instructions of the participating government personnel, trust only official information sources, and avoid spreading false information.
