An Audi exploded close to the pretrial detention center of Astana National Security Commission, KazTAG reports. “Audi exploded next to the pretrial detention center of Astana Naztional Security Commission at 4 a.m. All emergency services were alerted,” the agency’s source said. As the National Security Commission’s press-service told Tengrinews.kz, the incident occurred outside the Commission’s territory. Police is already investigating. Astana Internal Affairs Department promised to give their comments in the nearest time. Witnesses say that there were people in the car when it exploded, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. But there is no information on the exact number of people killed in the blast. According to the witnesses there were one or two people in the red Audi when it exploded. Fragments of their bodies were flying in all directions and scattered dozens of meters away from the car. The explosion also broke windows in the surrounding buildings.
