Tengrinews.kz - A conflict with a foreigner erupted on a bus in Almaty. The incident was caught on video and shared on social media.

The video shows a man occupying two seats in the bus, placing a crate of raspberries next to him. Allegedly, he refused requests from women to give up a seat.

"When a pregnant woman asked him to move the crate, he refused and began insulting her," the video's author wrote.

The passenger, speaking in English, was not shy about using offensive language.

"Open your eyes, dumbass. Open your stupid eyes. Fat pig. You're fat," he says in the video.

Some commentators claimed that the man in the video was a British journalist. However, the British Embassy, when contacted, denied this.

In response to an official inquiry from the editorial staff of Tengrinews.kz, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the individual involved was identified as a U.S. citizen.

"The case has been registered with the police department of Almalinsky District, Almaty. A relevant investigation has been launched, and legal actions will be taken based on the results of the expert examination," the ministry stated.

Recall: earlier, a British citizen's SOS call leads to rescue in Astana.
