Tengrinews.kz - Authorities in Almaty have revealed the design of the new Kazakhstan Media Center, which is set to replace the building destroyed during the January unrest of 2022.
According to a document presented by Almaty Akim (governor), Erbolat Dossaev, to the President, construction is expected to be completed by December 2025.
The new facility will be equipped with modern television studios, sound stages, video editing rooms, and conference spaces, the city’s construction department said.

Officials noted that the building will meet international standards, enabling the production of television and film content, as well as the development of digital media formats.

The total cost of the project is estimated at 22.2 billion tenge, with 93.3 percent funded by the city budget.
Earlier, Erbolat Dossaev announced that the Almaty Central Stadium will have a record capacity after reconstruction.
