Tengrinews.kz – Almaty International Airport has issued a notice to passengers regarding temporary changes to the flight schedule.
The changes are due to restricted airspace over Astana. According to official information from the Ministry of Defense, airspace over Astana will be closed daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM between April 22 and May 7, 2025, for the preparation and execution of a military parade.
"This will lead to changes in the schedule of some flights to/from Astana, including flights from Almaty. We ask passengers to take these restrictions into account when planning their trips. Those whose flights are affected will be additionally notified by airlines using the contact details provided during booking," the airport press service stated.
Passengers are also advised to check the current status of their flights in advance through airline and airport information services.
